What Are the Different Types of Codes and How Do They Work?

VIN Numbers

VIN numbers are used to identify vehicles and provide a wealth of information about them. VIN numbers are unique for every vehicle on the planet, except alien cars (or whatever). The 17 digits in a VIN code are the combination of letters and numbers that can be decoded in order to reveal important details about your car or truck.
